This year the Australian Tango Championship is back! Dancers can compete in SALON TANGO (Open) and STAGE TANGO (Open) categories. for details
NEW categories are being introduced in 2009:
* ‘TANGO SALON' – Beginners (less than 1 year experience)
* ‘MILONGA' – Amateurs
* 'VALS' – Amateurs
* ‘Dance with a Stranger - Open
Qualifying Rounds for Tango Salon are taking place around Sydney/Newcastle: Ruedisima will have a qualifying round on Friday 26th June at St Andrews Church hall, 29 Church Street, Mayfield (Newcastle) for info on other qualifying round cheche the official website.
